Jannah Hotels & Resorts Is One With UAE For National Flag Day

As the country celebrates National Flag Day, the team at Jannah Hotels & Resorts took a moment of reverent observance across all the properties in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Reaffirming their allegiance to the United Arab Emirates, the talents and guests from all Jannah properties simultaneously joined in the celebrations at noon today in front of their respective hotels where the UAE flag poles are. November 3 holds a special significance in the country’s history and this year marks the 11th anniversary of Presidency of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Nehme Imad Darwiche, Chief Executive Officer of Jannah Hotels & Resorts said, “Being one with the UAE in commemorating this significant national event feels it is beyond our patriotic obligation; rather, it is our collective pride and delight in being part of this remarkable occasion that has stemmed from a glorious history.”

According to The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development, the UAE flag was chosen from over 1,030 designs. Each color in the flag holds a special significance: red symbolizes the sacrifices of previous generations who laid the foundations for the union of the seven emirates and the martyrs who have died protecting the UAE; green depicts growth, prosperity and cultural renaissance; black reflects the rejection of injustice and extremism, and white celebrates the UAE’s charitable contributions and the government’s aim to work towards achieving global peace.
