Jannah Group Dims Lights to Commemorate Earth Hour

In support to protect the environment, Jannah Group Hotels will be participating in Earth Hour, a global Worldwide Fund initiative.

The hotels together with resident guests will engage to this year’s Earth Hour theme #Connect2Earth by creating a symbolic 60 minute of earth hour and beyond with candlelight. Hotel guests will be encouraged to contribute by switching off all lights and any power devices for one hour from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, to honour the occasion.

Richard Haddad, CEO of Jannah Burj Al Sarab Hotel, said, “Every year we participate in Earth Hour to spread global awareness about energy conservation. It is our social responsibility to understand the consequences of our actions and its effect on our environment.”

“It is time we overcome malpractices which possess a threat to the atmosphere to minimize further damage for the future generations, hence, it is in our best interest to limit our energy consumption this year by reducing the use of water and electric and recycle biodegradable products” he added.
