Yas Waterworld
Yas Waterworld is a sprawling, aquatic theme park that houses a grand total of 43 rides, slides, and attractions—five of which can only be found at this Abu Dhabi waterpark.
The attractions at the Yas Island waterpark can only be described as futuristic. Park visitors can experience the world’s first, hydromagnetic, six-person tornado waterslide, surf three-meter high waves on Bubble’s Barrel, and ride the Bandit Bomber—a 550-meter interactive coaster ride with lasers, usable water jets, and water bombs aplenty.
The waterpark draws on Abu Dhabi’s heritage, featuring the thematic image of “The Lost Pearl” as its core theme. A massive pearl, 8 meters in diameter, sits atop the park’s towering centerpiece, the Jebel Dana.
