Constructed in 1998 over an area of 47,000 sq meters, Airport Terminal 2 in Abu Dhabi is used by over 50 airlines, and capacity of 10 million as of its last renovation in 2013.

The site is an open museum, where guests can observe traditional aspects of the desert way of life, such as a campfire with coffee pots, a goats’ hair tent, and a falaj irrigation system.

There are workshops where craftsmen demonstrate the traditional skills of metal work and pottery, while women sit weaving and spinning. These artisans are happy to share their skills, and may occasionally give you the chance to try them out for yourself.

The little spice shop found in Heritage Village is a treat—you can get a range of dried herbs, handmade soap and other artisanal delights.

Khalifa Park is a hub for relaxation, social interaction, and entertainment in Abu Dhabi. Located in Al Matar, this is one of the city's largest parks.
